On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

1. Apply core knowledge of different areas of statistics such as economic, demographic, social and environment related to the Pacific region
2. Apply all stages of the statistical cycle for producing Official Statistics, utilising different frameworks
3. Acquire stematically, statistical information from different data sources
4. Analyse and interpret Official Statistics, disseminating findings in appropriate contexts and modes
5. Apply key statistical packages to analyse survey and census data
