Doctor of Philosophy (Information Systems)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

  1. Proficiently apply appropriate methodology to address complex discipline specific or multidisciplinary real-world problems underpinning theories of information systems or cognate fields.
  2. Apply, analyse, or design innovative solutions in information systems or cognate fields by independently investigating the knowledge gaps in the current or emerging trends.
  3. Discuss research outcomes effectively in written and oral forms with other information system professionals and scholars employing a range of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tools.
  4. Demonstrate ethical conduct throughout the different stages of research activities in information systems or cognate fields. “
