On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

  1. Solve problems using research skills leading to substantial contribution to scholarship in the field of Physics.
  2. Engage critically with scientific issues to evaluate and solve problems and manage uncertainties.
  3. Design and carry out projects of regional significance relevant to the field of Physics, both independently and collaboratively, to reach independent conclusions.
  4. Articulate and disseminate complex ideas and research outcomes effectively in the appropriate format in the field of Physics.
  5. Demonstrate ethical standards of the professional code of practice in all the components of physics-related research including their outcomes and the implications.”
