Master of Science in Engineering (thesis)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

  1. Apply advanced engineering knowledge towards the exploration of a research area, project design, implementation, and test, considering Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) issues and society/environment constraints as applicable to the region.
  2. Demonstrate enhancement of engineering knowledge in a broad range of areas.
  3. Break down a complex engineering hardware/software project into quantifiable objectives and develop a methodology to achieve them.
  4. Communicate effectively engineering-related research work in written and/or oral forms, including making presentations, interacting with researchers in similar area, and through technical reports and peer reviewed papers.
  5. Demonstrate professional competence, independence of thought, and maturity in scholarship and for the engineering profession.
