Pacific TAFE Partial Scholarship

About the scholarship
The Pacific TAFE Partial Scholarship provides opportunities to students to study and benefit from quality and internationally accredited education. It is applicable to all registered Pacific TAFE students from the USP member countries in 2023 Semester .
Terms and conditions
- Pacific TAFE will cover 50% of Tuition cost. Note, depending on prioritisation, assistance may be revised to any amount without being advertised.
- The scholarship is available for one (1 member per family. between siblings or between children and parents.
- Provide verified evidence of family income of no more than FJD 25,000 per year. In any absence of evidence, a Statutory Declaration must be submitted. To proceed with scholarship from Semester 1 to Semester 2, students must achieve a Term GPA of 3.0 (B) or better.
Note:
Students must ensure that their application reaches the Student Coordinator before the deadline. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Application closes on 1st August, 2023.
The full Eligibility criterial
Eligibility: All registered students are eligible to apply for this scholarship, with the exception of:
- International Students;
- Students enrolled and pursued Unclassified Undergraduate (UN/UGF)/ programme;
- Students enrolled into cohorts;
- Students supported by sponsorship or scholarships schemes;
Criteria:
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria in order to be considered;
- Admitted and registered for Pacific TAFE Programmes commencing in semester 2, 2023
- Have a combined family income of not more than FJD 25,000 per year
Documents required
- TIN Letter of Applicant, and or Parent(s)/ Guardian(s) if supporting applicant.
- Spouse’s TIN Letter if married.
- Evidence of family income (latest pay slip)
- If not working or of self-employed, please provide a valid Statutory Declaration as proof of family income.

- Complete the Pacific TAFE Partial Scholarship application form available at Pacific TAFE (Statham Campus), or download the form on usp.ac.fj/forms
- Send their application directly to pacifictafe@usp.ac.fj
Selection Criteria
The University reserves the right to prioritise selection should applications exceed available funds using the following criteria:
- Total Family income
- Programme Priority to be determined by Pacific TAFE.
