On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

  1. Analyse an advanced range of contemporary trends and developments in public sector administration and management in both the Global South and Pacific Island Countries and Territories.
  2. Evaluate comprehensively the relationship between management in the public and private sectors and the roles of the different stakeholders.
  3. Propose practical solutions to tackle an extensive range of problems and challenges facing public and private sector managers regionally and/or internationally.
  4. Analyse critically a substantial range of emerging issues affecting management in private and public industries in Global South and Pacific Island Countries and Territories.
  5. Assess critically the implications of the interdisciplinary nature of management and public administration, especially in the context of the Global South and Pacific Island Countries and Territories.
  6. Propose a comprehensive range of effective and appropriate tools, processes, and diagnostic capabilities to support business management and public administration.

Master of Commerce in Management & Public Administration (SRP)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

  1. Formulate coherent and feasible research proposals and project reports based on research findings in the field of management and public administration.
  2. Examine critically current issues, trends, and scholarly debates within management and public administration in a local, regional, and international context.
  3. Evaluate the current scale, scope and diversity in management and public administration sectors and identify structural differences between organisations.
  4. Appraise the need for organisations to develop policies for sustainable development and methods of stakeholder participation.
  5. Produce a supervised research project, including a research proposal, presentation and thesis in the field of Management and Public Administration.

On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:
