Bachelor of Agriculture (Applied Sciences)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates are expected to be able to:

  1. Apply core knowledge in the field of agricultural sciences in the Pacific Island Countries (PICs).
  2. Conduct agricultural research ethically following appropriate research design and methods;
  3. Solve problems in a range of different situations in agricultural sciences;
  4. Engage with farmers and other agriculture-interested stakeholders, including designing and conducting training and outreach activities;
  5. Collaborate ethically and effectively in agricultural contexts;
  6. Practise agricultural sciences recognising the social, cultural, environmental and economic needs of the PICs.
