Doctor of Philosophy (Environmental Science)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

1. Carry out an extensive literature review of the current state of knowledge on a particular topic within the environmental sciences.
2. Identify and analyse research gaps and opportunities in the environmental sciences and design appropriate research methods and approaches to answer research questions
3. Apply accepted research methods to an independent and original environmental science research project.
4. Interpret and communicate environmental science research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals as well as for a wider, more general audience.”
