On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:
- Analyse the different styles of good governance, leadership and human rights and its principles and consider their integration and application into everyday life
- Analyse critically and apply knowledge of good governance in the Pacific Island Countries and globally.
- Assess critically the increasing concern for the critical importance of good governance, leadership and human rights from a practical perspective and its application in the Pacific Island countries
- Evaluate the scope and consequence of the human rights laws, conventions and treaties and how these affect us in the Pacific Island countries
- Assess global issues relating to corruption, with a strong focus on Pacific Island Countries.
- Apply critically, knowledge and skills of human rights defenders in the Pacific Island Countries and globally.
