Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (History)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates are expected to be able to:

  1. Relate relevant historiographical theories and concepts to historical and contemporary issues in the Pacific and globally.
  2. Evaluate different historical sources (primary and secondary) and perspectives to produce a sophisticated historical analysis.
  3. Conduct independent, systematic, and ethical research taking account of historical theories and methods.
  4. Communicate structured and evidence-based arguments to a range of audiences in different contexts.
