Doctor of Philosophy (Politics/International Affairs)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates are expected to be able to:

1. Assess advanced elements and operations of the international system.
2. Critically apply theories, methodologies, and knowledge to address fundamental questions in politics, international affairs, governance, or development in the Pacific and globally.
3. Evaluate advanced theoretical perspectives and concepts on politics, international affairs, governance, or development in the Pacific.
4. Conduct original and independent research in the field of politics, international affairs, governance, or development.
5. Develop well-reasoned arguments based on critical analysis and effective use of appropriate sources of evidence in the field of politics, international affairs, governance, or development.
6. Publish and present effectively work in the field of politics, international affairs, governance, or development in the Pacific.
