Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (Gender Studies)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates are expected to be able to:

1. Gender Lens: Analyse an extended range of social processes, issues, and structures from a gender perspective at the local, regional, and global level, including in the context of environment.
2. Theoretical Knowledge: Critically evaluate and apply knowledge of an advanced range of gender-related scholarship to Pacific Island societies.
3. Research: Evaluate and design independent gender research, employing gender-related methodologies that rest on reflexive practice and ethical considerations.
4. Methodologies: Evaluate the epistemological contribution to research as well as the political dimension of gender-informed methodologies.
