Doctor of Philosophy (Literature)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates should be able to:

1. Critically analyse literary/cultural texts with substantial levels of autonomy, employing discipline-specific key terms.
2. Develop theories and critical positions in relation to literary/cultural texts, to extend the boundaries of current knowledge at the forefront of the discipline.
3. Produce original studies of literary texts, relatable to Oceania, which are written, researched, and referenced to a substantially publishable standard.
