Bachelor of Arts (Literature and Language)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates are expected to be able to:

  1. Use analytical techniques, contextual knowledge and theoretical positions to interpret literary texts and language descriptions;
  2. Evaluate the importance of language and literature within the Pacific region and contexts, and beyond;
  3. Synthesise this knowledge with issues of social development, education for sustainable living, and the contested relationship between tradition and modernity in the Pacific.
