Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (Applied Linguistics & English)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates are expected to be able to:

2. Evaluate linguistic phenomena or challenges of relevance to language teaching.
3. Formulate strategies and solutions to linguistic challenges faced in their own particular contexts.
4. Demonstrate critical thinking and autonomy in authentic situations encountered by language teaching professionals.
5. Critically engage with research publications and data sets from across the field of Applied Linguistics.
6. Use appropriate ICT tools effectively to support research, pedagogy and/or community engagement.
