Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (Literature)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates are expected to be able to:

1. Critically analyse literary/cultural texts with emerging levels of autonomy, employing discipline-specific key terms.
2. Evaluate the relationship between literary/cultural texts and an extended range of theories, contexts, and critical conversations.
3. Produce original studies of literary texts, relatable to Oceania, which are well written, researched and referenced.
4. Perform research activities fundamental to literary studies, by appraising scholarly sources, employing appropriate theoretical and methodological approaches, and participating in peer review.
