On successful completion of this programme, graduates are expected to be able to:

1. Plan and conduct original research in collaboration with the supervisory team to extend knowledge in a focussed area of education.
2. Communicate educational research findings effectively in a variety of forums and mediums including peer reviewed publication(s).
3. Critically analyse and apply appropriate approaches to conduct original educational research on a selected topic.
4. Demonstrate highest ethical standards in conducting and disseminating educational research findings.
5. Engage and actively participate with the diverse cultural communities in identifying and addressing educational issues with rigour to inform policies for resilient and sustainable Pacific societies.
