Master of Arts (Linguistics) (Thesis)

On successful completion of this programme, graduates are expected to be able to:

1. Plan and conduct research activities in collaboration with the supervisor in a focussed area of linguistics.
2. Communicate ideas about language effectively in written and oral modes across a range of contexts, using ICT tools where suitable.
3. Critically analyse and apply theoretical concepts in a selected area of linguistics.
4. Exhibit ethical standards in research and scholarly activity in the linguistics discipline.
5. Engage and participate collaboratively with the diverse cultural Pacific communities in areas relating to the resilience and sustainability of languages.
